iPad fell down, now is not working.

I was using my iPad mini and then it fell down with the screen facing down. It didn't fell from very high and after it did the sound from the video I was watching could still be heard. So I pressed the close button and the tried to reopen it. But it doesn't respond to anything I have tried resetting it by pressing both button and when I plug it in my Mac it doesn't get recognized. Can this be fixed or do I have to get a new one?

Options

Sounds like a broken LCD or dislodged LCD flex cable. Take it to a local repairer and ask if its the LCD. Shouldn't be too expensive $150 ish.
