iPad keeps cycling off in 2-3 sec intervals

Ok so, i have an iPad started with a cracked screen, i bought the screen and did the repair the digitizer worked perfectly except i noticed that the power button wasn't working and then the home button stopped working. Opened it back up and noticed the power cable was ripped idk how that happened, then when i opened it the second time i ripped the antenna cable. so i bought the parts and did the repair. Now the iPad won't really turn on properly, it cycles on and off in 2-3 sec intervals sometimes not at all. sometimes the power button works sometimes it doesn't. then randomly when it finally powered on it told me to connect it to iTunes which it's never done. iTunes is telling me theres an issue with the iPad and i need to update it. inly problem is i can't keep it on long enough to do the update. i'm starting to lose my mind. any ideas?

Something on the new cable might be causing the cycling. I would try powering it on with the old cable to see if it persists.
