a few months after replacing the screen, the top inch isnt responsive.

Hi, I replaced my iPad Mini's screen a while back and everything was fine, now the top inch of the screen isn't responding to touch...? everything else works fine, I turned the iPad and still that one section (right under the front facing camera) isn't responsive... Any tips?

Options

I would check to see if your connection came loose or if the display is faulty. Try removing the digitizer and reconnect it!

Thanks, I'll remove and reconnect right now. Also, its having a phantom touch thing going on, I fixed this in the beginning by using kapton tape and it seemed to do it until now. Do you know anything about that?

I dont know much about that to be honest, I would check to see if the tape came loose or it might be where the digitizer is just performing progressively worse.
