Hey guys, about to order a digitizer for Ipad Mini 3 and was wondering if i lost Touch ID if I got the ones where the home button comes preinstalled. Or do you think I can transfer the original home button without having to solder anything?

If it's a iPad 3 you will need to transfer the home button to the new screen. The iPad is the same as the iPhone 6 the home button is programmed to the motherboard so without the original home button you will get the dreaded error 53 when updating the device. Just be very careful with that home button because if you damage the the device will be junk, lots of heat and go slow!!! Also don't buy a new screen off eBay for $10 buy a good screen from Ifixit it will save you problems when putting back together with things like ghost touching and tape the edges with kepton tape, good luck!!

Thanks man. That's what I thought. Just trying to take the easy way out :p
But when i took out the home button and he returned again on another screen does not operate with me of the house button and footprint
