I want to get rid of a custom os?plz help have tried

I held dowm the three buttons vol up power n home. Android thing came up and asked to choice option. I choice to reboot ph thout it worked but the install os note is still there. Its killing my battery. Need to get rid of it?????

The latest update was Gingerbread(2.3). The baseband version was: T959VUVKJ6. I did find a copy available for download, Since, I am not familiar with the site, please use your antivirus software to be sure that the file is clean of any viruses. You can also use the firmware baseband firmware to search online as well.

Alternatively, if the current ROM you are using is causing issues, you might also want to review other ROMs available for your phone on the XDA-Developers wiki that may resolve the specific issues you are having. There are many that are based off the stock firmware.

The latest firmware from T-Mobile is: T959VUVKJ6. I found an active link on a personal blog, for that version and I recommend using your anti-virus software to ensure that it is clean from malware.

Also, if your current ROM is causing you problems, the XDA Developers wiki has several alternatives based on stock that might be helpful.
