iPhone 6 won't turn on

My husbands iPhone 6 won't turn on. It was not dropped and has no liquid damage. We have tried:

-A forced restart (does nothing)

-Restoring by connecting to iTunes & holding down Home button (computer won't recognize device)

-Multiple chargers and outlets

-Replacing the charge port

-Replacing the battery

Do I have any options left?

Thanks!

Kate

So if you charge it for a few minutes so it will 'start' and than pull your cable out and put it back in your phone. Does it vibrate or make a sound?

Hi Simon,

The phone is completely unresponsive. It will not start, show anything on the screen, vibrate, make a sound - nothing.

Thanks,

Kate

It sounds to me that your charging circuit is defective or components are missing on the pcb. Open up your phone again and look to see any burnt or damage components. If you do find anything it would need to be sent in or took'n to a repair shop that does that kind of repairs. Hope that helps

Thanks for your response. Would a defective charging circuit result in a phone that won't power on even when plugged into a charger or into a laptop?

Yes Kate, because if the charging circuit is not working correctly it won't detect the charger so you won't see any charging icons on your screen. Also could be your on/off power switch which also controls your mute and volume functions. I have a charging cable that lights up which helps me figure out if it's a charging circuit issue or not if you could find a local radio shack and sometimes target carry this type of cable. How old is the phone, if it's less than a year old take it to a Apple Store for a replacement.
