iPhone 6 won't display/makes charging noise after screen replacement

Hey guys, so after doing a screen replacement for an iPhone 6 I accidentally ripped the flex cable that runs along the LCD shield (Not to be confused with the actual home button cable). This caused the phone to not display anything and show no sign of any power. So I read that this cable could be easily replaced and so I went forward and replaced it, and I'm still getting nothing from the phone. I've tried checking all the connections and pins and they all seem to be fine, and I have also tried to unplug and plug in the battery. Still nothing. At one point it would vibrate (turning on) and then make the charging noise over and over again. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks for any and all assistance.

I have a similar problem. I did a water recovery repair of my iPhone 6...taking the motherboard out, cleaning it in alcohol in an ultra sonic cleaner. As suspected it didn't work with the original LCD, so I tested it with a new LCD. It came on when plugged into the charger, showing that it needs to charge the battery. Thinking I had it working, I moved all components over to the new LCD. Then when I went to test it again, nothing appears on the screen but I can hear the phone buzzing and turning on. Thinking that I may have damaged the new LCD somehow, I tested it with another new LCD and it still isn't displaying anything, but it is buzzing and turning on. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

Options

If I understand you right the cable that got ripped was the flex cable under the LCD shield for the home button, even if this cable was damaged it would only effect your home button not the display. Try to put the old screen on and see if you get any images to display on the old screen. Not sure where you got the screen from but maybe you got a bad screen, with the higher prices of screens there is a lot of junk screens out there. Many people are refurbishing screens and they don't have any idea what they are doing and selling them online. Last I would try another charger, and do a reset on the phone by holding down the home button and power button until the apple icon come on, but I really think this is a screen issue.
