Why wont my laptop boot
when I turn on my laptop it chimes, the apple logo displays on screen and the progress bar starts to work but only gets a little way along then the computer shuts down. I started it in safe mode and typed in fsck -fy then I hit the return button and waited for the computer to sort itself out. The last sentences in the display says:
incorrect block count for file default counts (it should be 18 instead of 0)
**the volume macintosh HD could not be verified completely. :/root#
I then put in reboot and it does the same thing on start up
Is this a good question?
