Help, my ProBook 4540s is completely frozen. How do I fix it?

I can't use the mouse or keyboard. It won't allow me to turn it off.

Hi,

You can 'force stop' your PC by pressing the power button until it shuts down.

When you start it again you will get a message that Windows did not shutdown properly and a screen will give you options on how you want it to start. You can select'safe mode', let it boot all the way to the desktop (it will have safe mode written in the 4 corners of the screen. The screen will look bigger as it is in a different resolution. This is normal. Shutdown your pc as you normally would then start up it up again. Hopefully it was only a glitch and everything is back to normal.

that did not work.i suggest you should break all background processes
