Replacing a Motor that will not turn off.

I had one motor go out (red/blue wires)

I replaced it with a spare that came with the drone. SYMA X5SW-1

I removed the old motor by melting the solder and attached the new motor wires to the correct sides with solder.

The problem is the new motor turns on when battery is attached. When I turn the actual drone ON the new motor speeds up to full speed while the 3 original motors stay off.

I can turn on the remote and get synced but when I throttle up on the controller the 3 original motors speed up for just a second then go off (the whole time the new motor is running full speed)

Is there something else going on?
