PlayStation Vita (PCH-200) Joystick replacement part

On my daughters PS Vita the right Joystick needs to be replaced. It is a PCH-2016 model.

I did not find any replacement part so I was wondering if the PCH-1000 Joystick is compatible?

Hi,

According to this link (pch-2000series) you cannot remove either the left or right joysticks by force (their terms) without damaging the system.

If you wish to try however, I do not believe that the joystick for a pch-1000 would be compatible with a pch-2000 series device. Looking at this link a (replacement) joystick for a pch-2001 (or even pch-2000 - call it the 2000 series perhaps) shows that it has 4 wire connecting flex cable, whereas the pch-1000 has a 5 wire connecting flex cable.
