Tire pressure sensor light stays on

I am told that this was not an option on the 04 Durango, however the light is in fact on, so I need to know how to reset it. I have taken it to several shops and they say it isn't an option. I have aired up the tires, bought new tires, reset the battery and other suggestions. Let me know your ideas.

Did you check the spare tire?

Maybe the light is shorted to power?
