What's wrong with my display?

Hey guys,

I've got an iPad mini here, and I'm not sure what's wrong with it. I had been trying to find the correct screw for the corner of my LCD for a while (a result of poor organization- learned my lesson!) and I finally found it, only to discover that when I powered on the iPad, no Apple logo displayed on the screen. I tried with a cracked LCD (on a working iPad it had turned on, just displayed weird colors), but still no dice. I plugged it into the wall outlet, but no response. I'm not sure what the problem is, anybody got an idea?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Update: iTunes recognizes the iPad when it's plugged in. I'm really at a loss for what the problem is, unless it's a power button cable problem.

You might just have broken the backlight fuse.

Try to look at the screen using a flashlight when the ipad is on.

If you're able to see that the screen is displaying something, then it means the fuse is burned.

It is possible the bypass it by putting a little amount of solder. But for that you pretty much need a microscope.

I thought it was that, but I saw no signs of life. Anyway, I've got it fixed now, I'm not sure why I haven't answered it yet.
