Hello,
I have a Huawei P8 Lite for less than 2 Months, before i didnt have any Problems with it.
But since yesterday my wi-fi doesnt work, when its connect to wifi it gots only 1 Mbps, i cant use any apps with internet like Instagram, Facebook but other devices works perfectly on my wifi like my laptop its connect without any problem.

I found a simple solution and it worked.
Switch off your Huawei device.
Press both the volume down and the power button at once until the Huawei or Android logo comes up, then choose 'WIPE CACHE PARTITION'
Reboot your phone.
Wipe the cache partition again.
Reboot your phone.
Find the FM Player app on your device. Connect a headphone to your device (which is used as an antennae)
Play FM for a couple of seconds.
Remove the headphone and turn on your WIFI. It worked for me and I am sure it will for you!!!

Its contenting but again after some time disconnecting, also IP address comes unavailable.

Hello Guys, I've done deep search about p8 lite Wifi Problem, and it's not a settings you can change even if you format your device unfortunately.
the problem is that the antenna became weak for some reasons so it's a hardware that you have to change!

If this is the Hardware, why the 3G/4G is working while the wifi is out of order?
Dude there is tri baand microstrip patche antenna exists for wifi GSM and LTE WCDMA which works simultaneously.
i replaced the antenna module and the pronlem remains ...

Hi,
Change your IP setting to Static not DHCP. That worked for me. All you do is go to settings -> Wi-Fi -> Press and hold the network you want to connect to -> Modify network -> IP settings. Change it to Static and continue to fill in the IP addresses etc. And save. Works if you know your network settings

you will go in your wifi advance setting .....keep wifi on during sleep..
here is 3 options
1) always
2)only when plugged in
3) never
my friends you chose no. 3 (never) ......
Insha ALLAH your wifi keep alive and connected to net..

I found this on/off problem. Just if you use the CM security, there you have an option called lockApp on default this lock the WiFi, when you choose to not lock the WiFi, gone alright.
For me this worked.

Yes, it was helpful! That's clear my phone cache, i think and Wi-Fi work properly now. It helps in Russia and i think it will help with any version of Huawei phone.

CM phone manager scan is what killed my wifi, bluetooth and FM radio, it was working fine till I decided to do the scan

Solution (I don' know if temporary)
- Free space (internal memory was almost run out)
- Turn-off and then, on.
- Solved!
I don't know what relation could have between WiFi and internal storage.

Go to wifi, click on menu, go to saved networks. Delete all.
Click on menu again, go to advanced settings, click on WPS connection and folliw the steps.

I found that the Developer Options were enabled , so I switched them off by going to Settings > Manage Apps > Settings (in 'All' tab) > Clear Data ... and it started working. I checked this by doing a restart and all was still ok. Hope it works for you.

To make developer option appear, go to About phone, see build number and tap it several times.

I think i have found the answer.
I was struggling with the same problem. Asked Huawei for an answer. They told me to make a backup and a factory reset.
I have android 6.0 on my P8 lite, backup & factory reset can be found under advanced settings. Here you will find the option 'network reset'. Use this option and the problem is gone :-D

I had this problem for several days 'Network Access Denied' and tried all the fixers to no avail until I found a Wi-Fi update in my Notifications, applied this update and Wi-Fi scan could see many access points but still would not connect to my router. Pressed both the volume up and the power button at once until the Huawei or Android logo comes up, then choose 'WIPE CACHE PARTITION'. Powered back on and now its working. I am happy and the sun is shining. Hope this helps.

Hey guys,
Try this simple fix, it worked for me.
Go to your "wifi settings". At the bottom right of the screen on the P8 lite there is a three line button. Hit that and go to "Advanced settings". Go to the option for wifi when asleep or whatever it is. Enable "ALWAYS" there and then reboot your phone.
For some reason this worked. I think it's an OS permission issue or something.

i have some problem before, you can test rollback transition your android OS, if not work you can install another firmware or flasing your huawei p8 lite. for firmware and how to install it you can go here huawei p8 lite firmware

Hello all
I had same problem danied access to network and then try everything about this wipe partition , clear data And reset factory all this solution didn't fix my mobile but I get the solution follow this steps :
Go to option
WiFi
Off your wifi
Click WiFi+ and on it
Then open WiFi and reconnect again
Will be connect inshaallah

The answer was so simple, simply restart the phone.
If you restart the phone and the Wifi does not work, then try backing up, earasing and reinstalling. If the hat does not work, call the helpline in your area for service center as the problem would be internal hardware. http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/ho...

3.1 Download Android5.0 version upgrade package

Copy the file named “UPDATE.APP” of Android 5.0 version to the folder named “dload”, and
the folder should be in the root directory.
Notes:delete the UPDATE.APP of the 1st update before this step.
3.2 Confirm upgrade package
Go into “File Manager”, then Local->SD card->dload, make sure UPDATE.APP is under dload
directory.
3.3 Rollback operation (same as chapter 2.3)
Follow this step to upgrade, power off, and then press the button volume+, volume-,and power at
the same time.

Hey guys,
I found out, that the Huawei P8 Lite seems to have problems with the 5Ghz from my Fritz!Box. As I activated 2.4 Ghz, the network showed up and I was able to connect to it.

Well, i have same problem with my GR5 2017, i can't connect to our office wifi. I thought the problem was my phone so I tried resetting it but still nothing happened. Then I tried asking help from an officemate and it turned out that my phone was put on a blacklist on the wifi setting. After he deleted my device on the blacklist, i can now connect to the wifi again.

Easy hack. On your router setup, go to wifi settings, select advance, on the 2,4Ghz network select 20 MHz, sure it says 40 MHz right now, save the setting and apply. Now your wifi works on Huawei phone.

turning off bluetooth increases wifi signal ! , clearing cache as above worked for me , cleared al lthe big stuff , google play , google , facebook , freed up 1gb and now wifi works . have also turned off developer stuff , and set

Hi,
Read on another site about a P8 not a P8 Lite. with Wifi problems, not connecting or slow when it did, so don't know if it relates to you but you can try. Check a setting in Settings > Wireless > Advanced > WiFi in StandBy select 'always' in the options list. I don't know if you even have this setting or if you do whether it will help but it shouldn't take long to check. If not there or it doesn't work sorry to have troubled you.

My wife's phone is doing same - P8 Lite - says 'access denied' on network. If clear the wifi details and re-enter same password very close to router it will connect, but then disconnect and not connect again if you move more than a metre or so away. Other devices all connect normally to our network, so the wireless router is all working fine.
There are multiple threads about this on Huawei's support forum, but nobody from Huawei has bothered to reply to any of them.
