Why is my DVD Player cannot be turned on?

When I plug the power cord of my DVD player and push the power button the player does not function. Then I already tried to test the power cord for any internal wiring disconnection but it was still in good condition same with the fuse also. I did to checked and trace also the power supply circuit but nothing was wrong. Can you help me solve this trouble?
