I got this late 2010 MacBook air 13", and it won't boot up.
it will power on, but the display stays black. the fan spins up, stops, spins up, stops, and spins up.. then goes full blast. the power circuity seems fine, it recognizes and charges the battery when connected.
according to the magsafe led, I am able to reset the SMC, but it doesn't help. I tore it down and didn't find any evidence of a spill.

parted out, and it now lives on in the form of another macbook air.
