Hello iFixiteers: I have a 2009 17" MacBook Pro and I recently saw an entire screen assembly (back cover and all) on eBay for dirt cheap, and in excellent condition. But my concern is whether a 2011 screen assembly will work on a 2009 computer. Is this a bad move? A potentially achievable fix? Help!

No, It does not appear so. It looks like 2011, they have the wifi antenna in the assemly, whereas the 2009 they do not. They are replaced with different part numbers. But feel free to research further, as I am not a Mac guru.

No it won't the isight wifi, etc cables are different would be nice but no dice.
