Hi,

Missed seeing this post at first. Here is a link for all Thermador models error codes. See notes on how you might possibly "clear" error if it was just a glitch. e.g E9 for some models is A E Latch switch problems - A = Turns heat off on failed oven only, micro not affected E = Turning to off stops error and flashing can tweak away code

Some of the error messages can be cleared by performing the following steps:

1. Turn the selector knob to OFF

2. “Tweak” the oven by turning the selector knob slightly to the left (counterclockwise). This may stop the flashing message/beeping and clear the window.

3. For errors E1, E9, E11, E12 and E13, the power supply going to the oven must be turned off momentarily, and back on again

4. If an error remains displayed when the selector switch is OFF, and after attempting to clear the display, as shown in steps 2 and 3, turn off the power going to the oven, and refer to the chart below to help you find the problem.

Having your actual model number would help in ascertaining what the problem actually is and also in advising how to start the self cleaning, as the info for self cleaning is contained in the user manual.

Enter your model number in here to get to the user manual download area
