Hi there. I dropped my iphone and smashed it and the screen went black so I put a new screen on it but still nothing. Home + Lock button does nothing, no iTunes recognition ect. It seems completely dead. I tried unplugging battery for a while then plugging into charger but nothing. Any ideas?

Did you replace the complete LCD digitizer and glass or just glass . If you only replaced glass or glass and digitizer you didn't replace enough if there's no picture you need to replace the whole screen assembly LCD included

The whole front screen assembly Digitizer/lcd/home button/ sensor/ camera ect.
then unfortunately it sounds like you've damaged the logic board.
