Direction of Internal Fan Flow

Hi, quick question. I took apart my old fat PS2 yesterday to dust it and now I don't know which direction the fan is supposed to be set as. Is the direction of the wind supposed to be outwards so that I can feel it, or is it supposed to be blowing into the console?
