removal of outside covers

Internal problems, Something is either plugged or jammed as no water comes through the brew head, and a wiff of smoke from the vents! I need to take this apart but am not familiar with Saeco, much used to Delonghi machines.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi,

Hopefully this video about entering test mode will be of some help. At least to tell you what might be wrong. Apologies if you already know this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-52zNyT...

Pete Watson any chance you can post an image of what your espresso maker looks like? I have a couple of manuals but need to verify that I have the right model.

Pete Watson I only have the philips_saeco_hd8750_hd8751_hd8752_espre.pdf parts manual for that one. The difference here is the front panel, but as you can see from the parts manual, the rest of the machine is still the same.

this is great! Thank you! I found out that my pump is the culprit, and am replacing it with one from a Delonghi that I have for parts!
