Hi,

Just verifying that your new charger has a 5V DC - 2A (2000mA) output (rating is printed on the charger) with a 2.5mm DC power plug as per the one shown in this link (the AC power connection pins may be different, I don't know where you are or what your AC power outlets look like).

http://www.actablet.com/5v-power-supply-...

If the charger does not seem like the one in the link and it has a micro USB connector at the end of the lead it won't work as the tablet cannot be charged via the micro USB port. (this also means that you cannot charge it from a PC)

If it is the correct charger and you have access to a DMM(digital multi-meter) you can test the output of the charger. It should read between 4.9v DC and 5.1V DC.

If you don't have a meter, perhaps you can access another, known working, charger to try. Just ensure that it has a 5V DC output and a 2.5mm DC power plug. If it works it proves that the tablet's charging circuitry and battery are OK and that it is the other charger that is faulty. If it also doesn't work, then either the tablet's charging circuit is faulty or the battery is faulty.
