upgrades...what are the max upgrads possible for this laptop...

what is the most amount of ram i can have in this laptop .... how big of HD and how fast 5400 or 7200?

some people have told me that if the machine says 5400 rpm it should be 5400 rpm... possibly because it over heats the mb.... and uses more battery life? i've got a 250 , 7200 rpm i'm thinking of getting a hd with more hd space, but i'm not sure about the 5400 rpm thing can you please give me some advice...

Options

4GB is the maximum RAM officially supported. Although the system will boot with up to 6GB, many users report instability at this level.

You can safely install a 5400rpm or 7200rpm hard disk. A 7200rpm hard disk was a built-to-order option with this model. There is no limit to storage capacity.

you can also reball a 2.4ghz processor and the Nvidia 320M onto it ;) my friend is doing that for me actually when he's got the time.

he hasn't personally but i know of people who have done it perfectly: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.p... it is very risky considering how much it costs to replace one of these boards and the cost of a good BGA reball station ($2000-3000?), and it was impossible to find a Nvidia 320M, and we're not sure if its the same array as the 9400M, but its no big deal to take the 9400M off and check.

I acquired a 2.4 cpu by buying one and carefully clipping off every pin. this is pretty much a proof-of-concept, but I definitely would like to be skilled with BGA repair other than just reseating it with a heatgun.

If anyone knows how to purchase Nvidia 320M gpus (the one nvidia made for apple) or any mobile gpu in general, please let me know.
