Ipad 2 still not charging even after battery replacement

My Ipad 2 (wifi version) stopped charging. It would sit at 2% and not charge up at all. I tried doing resets, restores, tried new cables. I figured since it is a 2nd generation maybe the battery is going. I bought a new battery. Replaced it with no problems. Powered everything back up. Battery came with 73% charge. I plugged it in and it still won't charge. I have double, triple, and quadruple checked my connections and they are all good. The next thing I am thinking of replacing is the dock port. But I am not sure if that would need to be replaced because when I plug in I get the lightning bolt in the top right corner indicating the port is working. My computer also recognizes it. I am not sure where to go from here. Any ideas?

Have you tried replacing your charge port? You might have a bad pin. Good luck ryan

Replacing the port was my next thought. I wasn't sure though since when plugging in I get the lightning bolt in the top right corner. My computer also recognizes it and I am able to sync still. Come to think of it when I had it plugged into my computer it did charge up from 72% to 73%. Any ideas there?
