My xbox turns on but it wont come on my tv why?

I even brought a new hdmi cord so it cant be the wiring I think its internal help would be much appreciated.

Have you selected the hdmi input on your tv?

May be a dumb comment, but I have friends who have done this before. Are you sure that you have the cable plugged into HDMI out port and not the HDMI in port?

yeah did both of those still wont show up
