MY SCREEN TURNS BLACK OCCASIONALLY after drop

Dopped my Macbook- since then the scree turns black occasionally and comes back if I press on the left corner area of the keyboard panel. Now I have to use a clamp that applies constant pressure to keep the screen light up. seems to be a short and I would like to fix it. HOW do I proceed from here?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I disagree with the screen replacement. If pressing on the corner fixes the problem it may be the connection or Display Data Cable. Please tell us your exact model so we can diagnose it better.

Make an appointment with the Genius bar at your closest Apple store. Looks like a screen replacement is required. Good news, you get the entire panel with a new backlight.

Bad news, if your out of AppleCare warranty, drops aren't covered unless you bought it from Best Buy and paid the million dollars for their extended warranty.
