2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer - Why are my brakes making a weird noise?

My TrailBlazer is making an awful noise when I brake to come to a stop. How would I fix it? And how much?

Sounds like your break pads are getting low you, need new brakes. The price is going to depend on the area you live in, and how good of a job they're going to do
