How to reset the jailbreak / unlock after regrettable reset.

I reset my boyfriends iPhone 4s and I did not realize that it was jail broken and unlocked so that it could be used as a straight talk phone. It will not finish activating since we do not have the right SIM card for it. Other than getting an AT&T sim, how can I quickly jail break it and unlock it again?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Did you restored thru iTunes? or you when to settings general reset erase all content and settings?

If you reset thru iTunes your out of luck to jailbreak it again until is release for the newest ios.

Your best bet is go to ebay buy a iPhone 4s factory unlock code for a $1 and wait less than 24 hours until you get a confirmation that is unlock and you will be able to use your straight talk SIM card and then you can go to unlockit.co.nz and download straight talk apn settings you will be good to go.

If you reset it thru the settings I will need to know what ios it had so I can show you how to jailbreak it again.

I reset it and erased all settings and content, I did not use iTunes for anything. I am not sure what the ISO was and I can not get it past activation is the reset process to check at the moment.

I read that using a SIM for the company it was from should get me past the activation part and I should have it by Tuesday. Is there another way to do that?

You will need that SIM card is the only way or you can go to a local repair shop and ask them if you can borrow the SIM card and should be able to do it on the spot. For free

Since I should have it in a couple days I will just wait until then, but I will post on here again once I get it if you don't mind helping me get things sorted back out again.

Okay, I got the SIM card in the mail last night, but now when I turn the phone on it goes straight to the "connect to iTunes," prompt. I tried several times iTunes always gets the error message, " Iphone can not be restored, unknown error (50)"

I tried restarting the computer, but with no luck in changing the results.

Ok you will have to put your iPhone in DFU Mode by connecting your iphone into itunes and hold the power button and home button at the same time count to 15 then let go of the power button n keep holding the home button, until itunes prompts you that you need to restored your device. Just proceed and restored the device your only option is buying that unlock code since we dont know what ios you had before.
