The camera will still take pictures because I can still press the button and check the memory card. So this led me to think it was the LCD screen. I want to know where I can buy this and know that I'm getting one of decent quality. To have it repaired by Sony will cost as much if not more than a new camera.

Ebay is the best place to buy replacement parts of electronic devices. Quick search already resulted in a few LCD replacement screens for about 10-15$ and some more expensive were the backlight is included.
