Keyboard backlight is at the center only how to fix this?

I swapped my Macbook Pro 15" (A1286) 2.53GHz keyboard with a Macbook Pro 15" (A1286) Core i7 2.66. After swapping both keyboard i encountered problem with my backlight. Now it's only illuminating at the center. How should i fix this problem? Thank you!

Update

Hi, this seems to be a common problem... it happened to me in 2 different MacBook Pro 15" Unibody systems. I have to disassembly both (in different situations) and once they where reassembled with complete care and reconnecting everything (even the backlight cable that's under one of the coolers) the keyboard backlight is uneven, mostly at the center. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Chosen Solution

Hi again, the problem was that I moved the backlight's plastic background a bit (maybe yanked the cable while disassembling). This "plastic background" is where the LEDs are connected. So I disassembled all again, lightly pressed the zone where the LEDs are attached and presto! Working perfectly again! Thanks!

Please do not edit the original question to post your answer. It makes it very hard to know who's talking. If you have this same problem post your own question. Thanks

Actually I don't understand how you were able to edit the question with no reputation.

Hi, I didn't edit anything. It's pretty obvious that this comment system is not working correctly (how in the world I could/would edit another's person message?).

BTW, I have a "-1" score? Maybe you prefer I shouldn't help and participate with a valid answer. Ok, I know now, I won't waste my time here the next time and I'll keep the solution for myself. Have a good day.

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. The history on the question shows you added the "Update" to the original question.

Pay no mind audio, I have upvoted you. You are obviously new and don't know how things work here. Don't mind the Ego maniac. He's a big baby.

Try reconnecting the keyboard cables and looking in the ports for any debris that may be blocking connection, also cleaning out with canned air.
