Can I buy iPhone 5C LCD/Digitizer separate from the glass?

Hi,

I was attempting a very difficult repair for my friend's iPhone 5C where I bought a kit from eBay and attempted to replace the cracked glass of the screen with a fresh one, separate from the LCD/Digitizer. That was done, although it was after I had realized that the LCD/Digitizer was broken. I could see some visible damage leading me to think I may have broke it during the repair. Across the internet, I can only find the glass sold seperately, and the LCD/Digitizer sold as a unit with the glass. But I cant find the LCD/Digitizer sold alone separately. Can anyone lead me to a site where I can do this? Or can get me a whole unit under £20 GBP?

Many refurbished LCD whole unit can under £20 GBP. And this OEM one is nearly £20 GBP. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/22161661980.... Hope it does help.

If you have experience doing this then eBay should have them. Highly not recommended because the quality is terrible and lots of work. Don't forget to purchase your adhesives
