Why wont iPhone 5c screen work after replacement

So i took my old iphone 5c that is icloud locked by some random person on ebay and I took the screen off that and put it on MY old 5c that had a broken lcd. Now after i did that the new screen wont light up unless i push really hard where the flex cables click into the logic board, how can i fix this problem? I didn't see anything stopping it from fully clicking or overall any problems.

hyrqBot check the connector very carefully. Check for any bend or folded over contacts.

Also check for any debris in the FPC connectors, I often use a tooth brush and isopropal alcohol to clean the connectors, be sure to disconnect the battery first and wait till all the alcohol has gone before reconnecting, just to be sure that the contacts are clean.

if the connector looks fine and you feel that it is ceded in all the way than the screen is more than likely defective

no, i put the screen back on the original phone and it works 100% fine, there is a small phantom touch but it lights and reacts to touch.
