How can I upgrade mac osx 10.3 to 10.5?

i have a power mac with 10.3 and i have the 10.5 install dvd,but i dont know if this machine can be upgradable to 10.5. if it is how can i upgrade to 10.5?

If your powermac cpu is greater than 867 Mhz and you have a DVD drive and sufficient memory (512 MB or more) you can install 10.5. You also need a minimum of 9 GB of hard drive.

yes i have that! it has 1.0 ghz,and a dvd drive, so how can i install this dvd??
