The phone won't turn on when the "End" button is held.
The device manual says that the phone should turn on when I hold down the "End" button, but it doesn't.

It is likely that the logic board is malfunctioning. It could be anything from a faulty connection to a burned out circuit. Since the electrical components of this phone come pre-soldered onto the logic board, the only way to truly remedy this is to replace the logic board.
