My screen doesn't come on after replacing screen and battery.

Hey guys and gals!

I've just recently changed a iPhone 5s screen for a customer and I also changed her battery. I can hear her phone responding to the new battery but the new screen refuses to light up or give any indication that its working. I've tried multiple screens, and none of them are working on her phone. I don't think the screens are bad because they work with other housings and other phones. In desperate need of some help!!!!

Answer this question I have this problem too

First, unplug the battery plug in the screen, plug the battery back in and test.

If the screen was working before you replaced it it is possible that the board was damaged. Placing screws in the wrong sockets for insistence can damage the cooper traces underneath and cause the screens to stop functioning. Look at the LCD connector for bent or missing pins.

Also try holding the screen up to a light and see if there is a picture, you may have just shorted out the back light diode.

Disconnect the screen and inspect the connectors on the phone with a magnifying lens to make sure they are not damaged or bent.
