Display assembly is not releasing

Have been trying for three days now to get the display to release. I have been stuck at step three in the instructions for replacing the battery. The video is not fair, they make it seem so easy. The sim card is out, the two screws are removed, but no matter how hard I pull the display will not lift up. Any suggestions?

Ok, hoping that you're pulling with the suction cup, and that's where you're stopped. If that's the case, I normally use a flat head screw driver, on most iPhones actually, to pry the bottom of the display assembly up. This takes patience and practice. You don't want to damage anything, while doing this. Also, you want to go slow, especially at first. When you finally get that display assembly up, you don't want to rip any of those cables, as you are going to want to re use some of them

Bummer, I guess I do not have screw drivers small enough. I guess they are placed between the frame and the glass. I am using the suction cup and all the pulling power I can. I have tried wiggling the suction cup back and forth but the display just will not release. Are there any other suggestions??
