Will iPhone work without camera?

Just wondering, will an iPhone 3g still work if the camera is completely removed from the logic board?

yes, it will. as it is separate circuit, disconnecting it has no effect on how the phone works... off course, appart from you not being able to take pictures...a confirmed on 2G and 3GS
