Lines and bad digitizer after battery replacement

Completed repair. Lost upper left screw, it popped into the abyss. Turned on phone, I have white lines up & down the screen and my "slide to open" doesn't move....Any thoughts??

Thanks for a reply. The digitizer cable is that the one attached to the button as you lift the top half??

I'm sure its not seated properly. It was tough getting it back on.

I can't totally shut off my phone bc the slide off does not work. Can I still open the phone?

You've broken the digitizer cable. Or it's not properly seated on the socket
