3.5g usb modem perfectly installed but not detecting

i had recently installed my 3.5g usb modem ,it was installed successfully but when i tried opening the modem app so as to connect it opened but it did not detect my sim card in the modem...my network provider is okay

Model: MacBook Pro 10 Core i5
