this memory card cannot be used. card may be damaged

I get a message that this memory card cannot be used. Card may be damaged. Meanwhile the card opens correctly on my laptop. The card is not locked when i put it in the camera. I have tried other cards for the same camera but I get the same message. All the cards work well on my Laptop.
