I do I need to replace my phone's LCD?

Hi all,

My phone screen randomly started doing this the other day (although it had been dropped a few hours before that). As you can see, half the screen has a grey tint, and sort of artifacts begin developing after 30 secs.

My question is this: do I need to buy a new lcd, or is it worth cleaning and reseating the cables for my current one?

Since you did say it was dropped before your screen started to act up i would say that now your screen is on its way out. Which means that pretty soon it will eventually black out or wont work at all so yes you should get your screen fixed as soon as you can

Hey everyone, just an update here:

It started to gradually worse, as Justis warned, so I ordered a new lcd and that's solved the problem. The old lcd had a big bend in it under the grey part, so I guess that's what caused the damage. For anyone else with a similar problem, you have a warped lcd which will have to be replaced!
