No power , No light
Was using an old power strip and a piece of metal fell into the strip/box and shorted the tv. The TV instantly went off and never came back on. My multi-meter is broken so i just assumed it was the power supply board. I bought a replacement from shop jimmies, and installed it. But still no power or anything. Please dont tell me it could be the main board. Any suggestions?

nwrightsel55 so the power strip shorted out, not the TV but everything on the strip? Of course you tried a different outlet etc? you checked your power cable to make sure that it is working correctly (measure power to the board)? You invested in a new multimeter or can borrow one?
