Basically my phone can record video but with no sound. It happened when i left a tiny chocolate mint in my pocket that so happened to melt in my pocket and on to my rear camera and the microphone next to it as well. I've tried dissolving it with alcohol and what not but no solution, still muffled. I'll just changed it out, however what do i need to change for a new mic?

The rear mic is part of the lock button flex, which will need to be replaced, there is no guide specifically for this, follow this guide as far as the lock button flex., dont pull out the lightning port assembly or volume/mute switch flex or anything else glued in that does not prevent access to the lock button flex.
