Tea spill prevents setup from DVD : wich board to replace?

After Tea spill over keyboard, my MacBook A1278 can power on every now and then but if I try to run or setup the system from Apple DVD it will turn off. Then I can't switch it on anymore. I wanted to start replacing the magsafe board first, does it make sense?

Also, how can I eject the DVD if the Mac doesn't power on?

Thank you

Search for

liquid spill, liquid damage in the search box - there are many steps you should try (like cleaning and reassembly) before randomly shoving parts at it.

If the double sticky tape trick won't work you'll have to disassemble the drive (at least as far as removing the top)
