How can I fix the last bit of screen wobble?

Hi! I have an early 2009 MacBook Pro for which I just tightened the display hinge. It used to be very loose -- now it's much better. However, the display still wobbles a tiny bit, and I'm wondering if there is a way to fix it. I don't think I can tighten the screws on the hinge much more, if at all.

Answer this question I have this problem too

This model has a weak spot about an inch up from the bottom left hand corner and the frame may have broken there.

What do you mean "the frame"? The black plastic hinge cover does indeed have a crack on the left side, but the crack is only on the cover and doesn't affect the actual hinge at all.

The display frame holder may be broken on the inside.

Is the only way to check that by taking apart the actual display?

Yes. If your careful with it and open from the right hand side you should be OK. Was I right in my assumption that the problem is on the left hand side?

by

I didn't try, after all. I'm not confident in myself to take apart the display without breaking it entirely. Also, I don't have the tools (namely, a heat gun).
