Won't turn on at all.

I bought my tablet in September 2015, after only a month and a half, it died and stopped letting me charge it. I charged it only when it would die, so I wouldn't deplete the battery.

I've tried 2 different chargers for it. It will not turn on at all. I bought my husband one at the same time, but he just got it for his birthday last week. I really hope it doesn't happen to his. I've tried resetting it using the reset button on the back, and no luck. Please help me. I really liked the tablet, and would love to be able to use it again.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi,

You are still covered by the warranty. Take it back

to where you purchased it for a replacement unit

I didn't do the warranty thru Walmart. I forgot to when I bought it. And for the manufacturer, I had to within 7 days, but didn't have the box open yet, so I wasn't aware of that either.

Hi,

Sorry, I am unaware of the warranty laws where you are. Where I am as long as you have proof of purchase you have 12 months (or longer depending on what is provided by the manufacturer at the time of purchase) to claim on warranty if the product "fails" and it is obviously not due to you. Here, also you do not have to register your product with the manufacturer either to claim on warranty. Basically they have to either repair, replace or refund if their product is faulty.

My reading of what you are saying is that unless you register your product with the manufacturer you only have a 7 day warranty. Surely that cannot be right!

Hopefully I am not raising your expectations as to what to expect but I suggest that you check ( I don't know what you have where you are, we have consumer affairs organisations even government departments which handle this area and give advice) and see exactly what your rights and obligations are in relation to making a warranty claim.
