Horizonal lines in screen after replacing display

I just switch my retina display with one I bought at ifixit and now my screen has horizontal lines (that didn't had before).

It's not a graphic card problem because I've already tested it with a different display and it doesn't show the lines.

Any suggestions? Does this mean the new screen is broken?

the screen may be defective... surely you may need another new one to be sure....
