Printer makes me restart every time I want to print.

The error message "016-302" began popping up on the mini-monitor on my printer. I have to restart, then I'm lucky if I get to print one job before the same message pops up and the printer has to be restarted again to print. If I don't have anything to print, it will automatically default to "Restart printer" mode after a minute.

I ran the troubleshooter option, but it couldn't identify the issue. Anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks.

Try downloading this driver and installing it, by doing so it should reset the program and start fresh

Hope this helps

Hi Nick,

Thank you for the prompt response. I downloaded the driver but I'm still having the problem. Regardless, I appreciate your suggestion. It was worth a try!

Since the new driver didn't work, it is most likely a problem with the printers logic board. You might just have to resort to getting a new printer.
