Where do you connect the paper clip? Why an additional PSU?

by

The paper clip goes between the green (Signal Cable) & the black (Ground) to create a circuit which powers it on without need of a motherboard. It so i can have an additional GPU inside the machine.

Do you mean an additional CPU?

George Banner so you use the paper clip just like it is commonly used to start a PSU. I use those as independent power supply in my shop. all you'd have to do is to connect a switch between the green wire and the ground.
