I've had my MacBook for around two years now, and around a year ago a line appeared on my screen. I could put it in a certain position and the Line would disappear. But lately the line wouldn't budge and would start to change colours. Also the screen would start to flash blue.

Maisie lee that is a bad LCD panel. You'll have to replace the LCD to repair it.

It could be at least one of four possible problems.

1. A bad video cable.

2. A bad video graphics card (is a known problem on some versions of MacBooks.)

3. Damaged LCD panel

4. A bad motherboard.

I suggest you backup your hard drive and take it into an apple store to get looked over by an Apple genius.
